“Empowering Education: A Collaborative Effort by LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation and Kaloob Foundation”

In a heartwarming display of community support and dedication to education, the LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, in collaboration with the Kaloob Foundation, Inc. and Divine Mercy Parish, Sinawilan Hills, Digos City., orchestrated a significant Turnover activity on March 25, 2024, at Soong National High School in Barangay Soong, Digos City. This event marked a milestone in the ongoing efforts to bolster the educational resources available to students in Davao del Sur.

The focal point of the event was the donation of six boxes of diverse reading materials to the school. These materials encompassed a wide array of subjects ranging from Mathematics, Science, Languages, History, and Arts to Novels, Religion, and Board Exam Reviewers. The comprehensive collection aimed to cater to the academic needs of secondary and tertiary students, providing them with a rich tapestry of knowledge and information to enrich their learning experience.

The beneficiaries of this generous donation were the 312 students and 18 teachers of Soong National High School. The presence of key figures such as Sir Julius Castañares, the school principal with the teachers, Br. Mark Vincent Madronero, AA, Kaloob Foundation Director, Ma’am Melody Joy Lambojon, HR Generalist, Sir Jonathan Oro Emin HO, area head of LBC Express, Sir Janille Pamilgan, Digos Delivery Hub Supervisor, and Sir Ian Gray Ecoy, delivery Manager of LBC Express underscored the significance of this collaborative effort in fostering a stronger bond between the organizers and the recipients.

The event was further embellished by the participation of Divine Mercy active youth volunteers, including Noreen Jay Casteo Mamacos, Lovely Jose Kiskisol, Rhenel Jay Enfestan, Nico Cisneros, Harra Diana Cañete, and Mr. Enrique Enghug. Their involvement added a youthful exuberance and a sense of community spirit to the proceedings, highlighting the collective commitment to nurturing the next generation through education.
